Black History Month Celebration 2026

We are delighted to announce the upcoming Our Community Cares Black History Month Celebration, taking place on 10th October at The Swift Centre, 395 Barking Road, London E13 8AL.

This special celebration will bring our community together to recognise and celebrate Black history, culture, heritage, achievements and contributions. It will be an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, learn from one another, share experiences and celebrate the richness of our community.

Black History Month provides an important opportunity to reflect on the achievements and experiences of Black communities, acknowledge the contributions that have helped shape our society, and inspire future generations.

Our Community Cares is committed to creating opportunities that promote community connection, inclusion, learning and celebration. This event is part of that commitment and aims to provide a welcoming space where everyone can participate and feel part of the community
