On 20 September 2026, OCC proudly hosted a vibrant and memorable Mayor’s Street Party, bringing residents, community members, volunteers, and local representatives of Newham together for a day of food, friendship, and celebration.
The event provided a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy good food, and celebrate the strength and diversity of our neighbourhood. As part of the occasion, OCC was delighted to feed the street, providing food for attendees and creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone could share in the festivities.
We were also honoured to welcome officials from the Mayor’s Office, who joined members of the community to celebrate the occasion. Their presence added to the significance of the event and reflected the importance of community engagement and collaboration.
The success of the Mayor’s Street Party was made possible through the efforts of our volunteers, organisers, community members, and everyone who contributed to making the day such a positive experience.
OCC would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event. It was a fantastic celebration of community, togetherness, and shared experiences, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for people to come together in the future.
Join us for a joyful Mayor’s Street Party, bringing residents, families, friends and neighbors together for a day of celebration, connection and community spirit.
Enjoy great food, music, entertainment, activities for all ages and the opportunity to meet and connect with people from across our community. Whether you come with family, friends or on your own, everyone is welcome.
