A fantastic celebration! It’s wonderful that OCC members embraced the spirit of Black History Month with such vibrant and meaningful activities today.

African Attire: The African attire made by Alateileke Fashion added a beautiful and authentic touch to the event. It’s always inspiring to see traditional clothing being celebrated and worn with pride. Our Rose, the leader, and OCC founder looks amazing and beautiful with her Yoruba tradition attire!
Global Cuisine: Having food from all over the world is a great way to celebrate diversity and bring people together. The food was a delicious and enriching experience!
Film Screening: Attendees watched “Hidden Figures”, a perfect choice. The film highlights the incredible contributions of African-American women in NASA during the space race, showcasing their intelligence, resilience, and impact on history.
